LE MANS CLASSIC 2018

Every two years at Le Mans – more precisely at Le Mans Classic on the Circuit des 24 Heures is a showdown of historic racing cars. The event was first held in 2002 and is framed by many attractions.
With 135,000 visitors this year, a new record was even set. Around 8,500 vehicles were on site, distributed among clubs, individuals and racing teams. More than 500 racing cars, spread over 6 “Plateaux” took part in the race. From the pre-war model to the LMP 1 prototype, everything was represented, driven by former racing driver stars like Jan Lammers, Klaus Ludwig or Henri Pescarolo, as well as talented “gentlemen drivers”.
In the so-called “Village” you can find everything: from exclusive restaurants to pubs, from Automobilia flea markets to classic car auctions and of course there is also space for classic motorcycles.
At the invitation of the French Cafe Racer Magazine, the Egli special exhibition moved directly from Montlhéry to the Le Mans Classic. For us this event was fantastic – a great platform to present “EGLI yesterday and today” to a wide audience and to make many new friends at the same time.
